HOW DUELING PIANOS WORKS
Most people walk in expecting a concert and quickly realize it's more like a high-energy, crowd controlled party!
Dueling pianos features two pianists on stage taking live song requests from the audience - everything from classic rock and country to today's hits.
The Twist? You don't just request a song-you tip for it. Guests write their song on a slip of paper, attach a dollar amount, and bring it to the stage. The higher the tip, the faster (and more enthusiastically) your song gets played.
It gets competitive in the best way-people will "outbid" each other to bump their song up the list, dedicate songs to friends, or even pay to interrupt someone else's request. The performers lean into this, making it funny, interactive and sometimes a little mischievous.
For our event, the best part is this: EVERY TIP GIVEN TO THE PIANISTS IS DONATED BACK TO THE CLINIC. So the more people play along, the more fun the night becomes-and the more support we generate to provide free, quality healthcare in our community.
Request a Song, Make a Tip, Make a Difference!
